Looks like I have left it so late I will have to blog all of January in one go!...

The Lake on the Thorpe Acre trail froze over completely in the icy weather - this picture was taken after all the ice and snow had cleared elsewhere.

This material was chosen for new curtains in the lounge

This new tap in the kitchen was very fiddly to install because I had to remove so much other pipework from under the sink to gain access. But it seems to have been successful - and I fixed the utility room sink tap while I had the water turned off.

This is the new lounge wall art - don't tell anyone that it took me nearly two weeks to put in the screw hook that is holding it up.
Tomorrow I am off to the hospital for an appointment about a colonoscopy.
Today we were visited at church by a possible new music intern - nice lad, but I sense that he didn't feel drawn to Thorpe Acre.
Today a CPC order was delivered and we had fun trying out a wireless headset microphone - I am thinking of trying it out to give direction to the music group while I am playing.

Wow Dad - looks like you've had a busy DIY-ful January!
The artwork looks fantastic, what's that made from? The curtain material and tap look great too.
What's a CPC order?
Thinking of you and hoping next Monday is not too bad.
Loads of love
