Joyce's visit to Doris

On Tuesday 10th April, Valerie and Frank brough Joyce up to stay with Doris.
Jacqui had some ideas of where to take her mum and auntie.

Thornton Reservoir

The first trip on Wednesday was to the Fuchsia Nursery at Thornton Reservoir.

Disabled Parking

Joyce bought plants and Doris bought a new bird bath.
The camera caught them later sat on a bench overlooking the reservoir.

Time & Plaice, Rothley

On Thursday a table had been booked at "Time & Plaice", a fish shop of high repute in Rothley.

Fish & Chips

We left suitably stuffed and we made our way to Leire and the home of June Goodwin.

Sheep in June's garden

June lives at Stemborough House which has a big enough garden for her to keep three Jacob's sheep and a swimming pool.
June lives a very full life and has made several appearances on tv.
She was one of the earliest competitors on the "Weakest Link".
June was born a Harris and she is cousin to Joyce and Doris.
June's daughter Melanie has made a study of the family tree and was able to show us a 12-page printout.
